Feeling Peachy

Hello everyone!

Well, we started off in January 2013 with a fashion account on Instagram – ‘@mylittlecupboard’.

After an overwhelming response from our followers, we decided to take it up a notch and be more expressive. What better way to do this than to start blogging? After a lot of planning and working, we are FINALLY proud to present to you – MLC Diaries.

We are thrilled to finally start off something that we never imagined we would actually get to!

So here goes..

Blazer – BCBG T-shirt – Zara Leggings – Thailand | Sandals – Primark | Bag – Mango | Necklaces – Local Designer

So, for our very first post, we decided on putting up this outfit, a particular favourite of ours. The basic peach slouchy t-shirt has been paired with a white blazer . Well, we’ve owned this blazer for  a while now but I’ve never got around to wearing it (which is sadly the case with a lot of our clothes!). The first time I wore it was when I was on a holiday in Vienna. This blazer was just perfect for the rather confusing weather there.

Sometimes when it’s a chilly day contrasted with a hint of sunshine, you may get confused about  what to wear! Personally, I think that blazers can instantly uplift an otherwise ordinary outfit. A neutral  one is an absolute  essential in every closet. I always felt that blazers look too formal/office-y (unlike Chahat),  until I finally realised and agree that it can actually look quite trendy!

What I love about the high waist leggings that I’ve worn here is that they end just a little above my ankle  which I think looks really cute.  In fact, I often make a few small folds at the bottom of some of my other  pants so they reach right above my ankle. Doing so is such an easy way for everyone to make a regular pair of pants look chic. Pants at this length look great.

The outfit has been completed with some basic accessories. The light grey thong sandals are my neutral  go-to sandals, especially while travelling. The nude bag is a versatile one and goes with everything.

Hope you guys enjoy what’s about to come!
