So Long, 2014.

The new year is just around the corner and I’m still finding it difficult to process how soon 2014 flew by. When it comes to dressing for New Year’s Eve, the excitement is at its peak. As much as I love holiday shopping, I try not to buy my outfit too close to the date in the fear of running into someone wearing the same outfit! So I lay out my options in advance, which is technically of no help since on the day, there is still the same amount of fretting and panicking before I finally make up my mind about what to wear!

For this post, I styled two suitable options for the big night. The colour black and an NYE event almost go hand in hand; so both my outfits invariably have elements of black.

Bandage Dress - Bebe | Coat - Zara | Clutch - Aldo | Ear Cuff - Claire’s | Shoes - Unknown

The first outfit is slightly edgier with an LBD (something you can never go wrong with) and a pair of chunky peeptoe booties. The outfit was toned down with the addition of a nude envelope clutch and made a little more sophisticated with the beige checked coat. Due to my current obsession, I couldn't not add my favourite ear cuff to the outfit! For those of you who have something sexy in mind, an outfit like this one could be a killer option!

Skirt - Soho St, HK | Bralet - Forever 21 | Bracelet - Flea Market | Heels - Unknown

The second outfit is slightly more feminine. This skirt is currently my favourite piece in my closet; I honestly cannot get enough of it. I found it in a little boutique in Soho Street, Hong Kong and just had to have it! I teamed it up with a black bralet and some glitter peeptoes making it perfect for the festivities. A little Ruby Woo on my lips and some gold accessories and I’m party-ready!

2014 was an amazing year and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me next year. Time to party it up!

Happy New Year everyone!
