As the year’s end approaches, I look back to realize that it has probably been the most eventful year of my life. Adventures, success, failure, life lessons, and a whole lots firsts. Boy has it been fun! That’s what brings me to what this post is all about - two contrasting parts of me this year and all the fun that came with it; depicted through my story with Hydes Studio.
When I scrolled through the collection from Hydes Studio, I could not stop myself from relating to the products. I don't know what it was, but these bags seemed to fit into my life perfectly, whatever be the situation. Something about the bags had me form an instant connect with the brand - it was completely in sync with my style.
Let's travel back to June for some time. Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Kolkata, Goa (with and without broken hand) and I think there's still more places to name. For three months it was all about travel for me. Getting lost in my thoughts, wandering through unknown streets, chancing upon something different everyday and the smell of new cities. All of this while making memories of a lifetime.
The minute I laid eyes on the larger than life brown tote, I knew it would be the most ideal travel companion (also wishing I had checked their collection out way back in June). It is one of those ‘carry your life with you’ kind of bags, exactly what you need before embarking on those endless adventures. Bardots are all over and there's just something so holiday about this ruffled bardot dress The cherry red and the earthy browns compliment each other and the pieces come together as the perfect wanderer outfit!
Getting back to reality after is always hard. Butterflies in your tummy, dragging yourself out of bed and getting real work done is challenging. But after all that travel, I seemed to regain the drive to get back to work almost instantly. Fourteen hour days, endless to-do list, juggling five things at a time, I'm still taking it all in but I was ready to face it head-on.
Coming to the yellow bucket bag, I’ve realized that it has to be a perfect day bag for all you busy girls. While it fits all the necessary belongings, it is not too big to handle. Ideal for back to back meetings as well as a quick lunch date in between, this refreshing yellow piece is every fashionista’s dream bag! The coral and the yellow seemed to work so much better than I had pictured. Of late, I have been obsessing over flowy silhouettes. A light flowy pair of culottes with a half buttoned maxi shirt spells out comfort without compromising on style. A quick addition of wedges and some light accessories and my all-day work look is complete.
Hydes Studio (Chennai) has so much to offer in terms of collection and style. Their designer from Milan stresses on traditional skills and compliments it with modern aesthetics. I feel that these genuine leather bags are not only high on utility factor but also on durability and quality. I love how Hydes Studio allows you to personalize the bags, customize colours or the entire style from scratch! Do check out their collection on Facebook and Instagram!
Hydes Studio has managed to change me from a ‘tiny-satchel-girl’ to someone wanting to sport these big bags all the time! Whether I’m busy taking off to a new land or ticking things off my work checklist, these bags have got all my needs covered for sure!
